About Us.

Sometime wonder are a Trio of multi-instrumentalists, formed with the intention of making vocal driven-acoustic music with soul and passion. Drawing on influences including Show of Hands, CSNY, Counting Crows and Paul Simon, The band combine strong vocal performances, lush harmonies and acomplished playing with a sonic nod to British/American folk sound, and a rock energy

Having worked in a number of different bands over many years, Sam, Richard and Ben decided to create something slightly different. Instead of playing straight cover versions of popular songs. (There are lots of very good bands doing this already) the emphasis here is very much on original music and re-worked versions of well known songs, and on trying to make each song a unique dynamic performance, rather than just playing well known material.

The Idea is to play small gigs, mainly in village halls, community centres and theatres, attract an audience of music lovers and create a warm, inclusive vibe.
